Euro Dell Delicatessen Retail Shop
Walking into Eurodell’s retail shop, ‘The Taste of Europe’ is like walking into a traditional European Delicatessen, with varieties of smoked meats and salamis hanging behind the counter and a large range of imported cheeses on display. It’s also a gourmet food shop for those who appreciate taste and quality in what they eat.

The Taste of Europe is a store with an incredible range of food products, imported from Italy, England, Germany, France, Spain, Croatia, and Scandinavia. Stacked among the shelves are meats, processed fish, cheeses, pastas, olives, antipastos, olive oils, pates, sauces, chocolates and biscuit products to name just some of the goods.

The Taste of Europe stocks most of the Primo range of smallgoods – produced in the most modern premises in Australia. The Primo Company and its staff have five generations of experience in the Smallgoods industry and specialise in traditional Ham and Bacon products, Continental Smallgoods and European style salamis. The flavoursome Primo range includes such hard-to-find delicacies as smoked pork ribs, mortadella, pepperoni, speck, chorizos, Hungarian csabai, prosciutto, Danish salami, pancetta, sopresso and calabrese.

An exceptional array of imported cheeses is also available from Eurodell - including Gouda, Edam, and maasdam from Holland, Reggiano, Gorgonozola, Pecorino Roman, Provolone Dolce and Grana Padano from Italy, Manchego, Feta, Gruyere and many others!

Cast your eyes sideways and you find a big selection of Italian anchovies and an equally impressive choice of sardines (in tomato sauce, hot sauce or vegetable oil). Not to mention the rare stock fish, also known as Bakalar. Then there’s row upon row showcasing one of Italy’s best pasta brands - De Cecco.

The well stocked store has been serving its loyal clientele since 1996 – and is always on the lookout for new products.

“We do attract Europeans looking for that European taste in their smallgoods, but it’s also a taste more and more New Zealanders are looking for. Our extensive selection of smallgoods offers spiced meats and cuts which your average store simply can’t get hold of,” notes shop manager Anita Butkovic.

“We’re finding a lot more ‘’travelled’’ New Zealanders coming in and buying products which they have sampled overseas. Our products aren’t necessarily cheap, but they are exceptional value in terms of quality and flavour.”

The knowledgeable staff at The Taste of Europe are always helpful and can answer any queries you have about products and their taste. Making the enviable task of selection, a breeze.

Easy to get to, handily positioned just off the North-Western motorway only a 13 minute drive from the central Auckland City, with ample parking!
